Dear, People of the World:

Life is not all about you. Everyone matters, regardless of how insignificant you think other people’s lives are, relative to your own.

I tend to believe that selfish people rarely go far in life.

It has been my experience that when we do well unto others, good will naturally follow. That being said, good should come instinctively, not because you are looking to reap some grand reward.

Charitable giving is not, and should not, always be about monetary donations. In fact, many people do not have much money to give.

There are many substitutes for money that will go a long way such as simply, asking someone if they need a helping hand, sharing knowledge that you may have gained, actively engaging in a conversation while expressing a genuine concern for the other person’s thoughts, and so on.

If you can’t live a life selflessly helping others, you will find that the hard life you are living will not get any easier, anytime soon.
