Hello, and thanks for stopping by Life and Personal Finance Reflections. I hope you continue to return to this blog to share your insightful commentary to my postings.

I am the author of the personal finance book, How We Prevent Wealth: A Personal Finance Reflection. How We Prevent Wealth, is written as a personal reflection on how many people unconsciously prevent themselves  from building wealth by doing things such as impulse spending, investing “in the markets” with little to no understanding of the process, dating and then later marrying people on different financial pages, and other wealth preventing decisions.

On this blog, I continue to provide personal reflections from a personal finance perspective. I believe that most of our everyday decisions can be linked to our personal wealth.

I have and continue to reflect on questions such as:

Why Do We Have Children? Is it Just the Thing to Do?

Are Changes to the Current Military Retirement System Needed?

What’s the Best Way to Pay Your Home Off Early? Should You?

Do You Make Your Facebook “Friends” Envious of You?

Are We Suckers to Invest in the Stock Market?

Who has created America’s “Sense of Entitlement?” and,

Are All Black People “Supposed” to be Democrats?

I also write about many personal events in my life.

Here is the speech that I gave at my best friend’s wedding.

Here is what I felt the day my divorce became official.

And this is how I feel about dating: Should We Compromise Our Personal Values or Desires When Dating?

My personal finance philosophy is simple in concept: “Don’t Prevent Wealth.”

Have fun following my musings.
